Apr 13, 2018An officer on patrol advised he’d be out with two subjects loitering around First Baptist Church. A 24-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for probation violation with bond set at $3,180 cash only. He was later taken to the Boone County Jail for incarceration.3:02 a.m. — A female subject called to report her stepfather and mother had been arguing, then he started throwing things at them before leaving in a vehicle. An officer said the incident had been verbal only, so the caller was advised of her options.4:08 a.m. — An anonymous caller reported some subjects passed out in a vehicle parked in the roadway on Smith Drive. An officer arrested a 21-year-old male subject for theft by receiving with bond set at $10,000. He was taken to NARMC for evaluation and treatment. An officer advised hospital staff to call the HPD when the subject was ready to be released. A 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl in the vehicle were eventually transported to a detention facility in Benton County.7:21 a.m. — A caller reported a speed limit sign in the middle of the roadway on Commercial Street. An officer moved the sign and notified Public Works.8:30 a.m. — A woman called requesting a welfare check on her 2-year-old daughter. An officer advised it was a child custody dispute.8:41 a.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Maplewood Road and Highway 43.8:48 a.m. — A 911 dispatcher requested Harrison Rescue help lift a patient at an address on Tims. Assist complete.9:35 a.m. — A caller reported a bicycle abandoned in the grass near the Walmart parking lot. An officer took the bike to the HPD for safekeeping.9:47 a.m. — An officer out at an address on Campus Avenue arrested a 53-year-old man on a warrant for failure to appear in court on speeding with bond set at $641. He was later taken to the Boone County Jail for incarceration.9:53 a.m. — A caller requested help with a 70-year-old woman who had passed out in the bathroom at an address on South Sycamore.
